This
course provides and overview of key concepts of knowledge, tacit and explicit forms of
knowledge, and major sources of organizational knowledge. It discusses the major knowledge
management processes and introduces to methods and techniques that can aid knowledge
management in organizations. The course also reviews technology as an important KM enabler
and introduces the students to a variety of tools and applications that can assist in
realizing the potential of knowledge management. The course concludes with a discussion of
strategies that can be employed to implement knowledge management projects in
organizations and also reviews practices prevalent in leading knowledge organizations
