Electronic Commerce
E-Commerce facilitates transactions between parties on the
opposite side of the planet anytime anywhere. It allows deals to be carried out between
strangers directly without the need for intermediaries. This creates two major unique
problems that need to be addressed for e-commerce to grow. The two problems are security
and trust. While security is considered a technical problem that can be overcome
with advances in Internet security and encryption techniques, trust is a psychological
problem that goes beyond technical advances and requires a new business approach
